Tyler Bland
Representing Exeter High School Positions: RB/DB When I heard I was going to play in the annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Game I was very excited to play football for one last time. Not only was I very excited, but I was very proud of myself and honored to have been selected for this game. I know how important this game is and that it goes to a very important cause, and I’m grateful to be a part of it. It truly does mean so much to me to see all of the hard work and dedication I’ve put into this sport pay off by giving me this opportunity. Gareth Brown
Representing Mascoma High School Positions: OL/DL When I learned that I was going to be playing in the Shrine Bowl, I felt honored to play for the state team. I will start to get back in shape so when the time comes I'm ready to play. Future Plans: My future plans when I get out of high school are either go to the military or go into a trade. |
Jacob Brown
Representing Kingswood Regional High School Positions: OL When I got the call from the Shrine coach, I almost didn't answer because I didn't know who it was. I was shocked; it wasn't something I was expecting to get a call about or had been thinking about. The Shrine Bowl is something I had known about since my freshman year; they even had practice at my school my freshman year. But now it comes full circle. Learning that this is more than just a game makes it all that more important to be a part of. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be involved with this program. Future Plans: I plan to attend college in the fall where I will continue my academic and athletic careers. |
Brogan Donnelly
Representing Inter-Lakes High School Positions: OLB/SE After I had finished my last high school football game and my senior season was concluded, I was unsure of what my future with football would look like; however, when I first learned that I was nominated to play in the Shrine game, I was ecstatic. Not only does the Shrine Game give me the opportunity to play more football after high school, but also to come together with talented players across the state to compete against Vermont which I’m truly thankful for. Future Plans: I plan on attending college to pursue a degree in Economics or Finance |
Nathan Galbraith
Representing Concord High School Positions: LB I felt accomplished and excited at the same time. Me, Brett, and Kenny all started together since our sophomore year so we've all been excited and waiting for this for 3 years. Future Plans: I will be attending New England College and continuing to play football. |
Jackson Greene
Representing Exeter High School Positions: OG/IN/LB When I found out I was playing the Shrine Game, I was excited to get invited. When I first started playing my freshman year, I didn't think it would impact my life the way it did. I didn't play much freshman year. I understood the importance of getting stronger and faster. My sophomore year, I started both ways. Junior year, I started both ways and went to the D2 Championship. My senior year, I had a strong beginning of the season, but I broke my hand in the middle of the season. I didn't play that strong until I continued the rest of the season, and it was one of my best seasons. Future Plans: After high school, I will become an electrician. I will go to school for four years with my own enterprise. Then after that, I will be a licensed electrician. |
Jackson Hall
Representing Bow High School Positions: G/DE When I got the call that I had been selected to play for Team New Hampshire in the 72nd Shrine Bowl, I was excited. This game has been the highest achievement for any player to end their high school career on. I am grateful for this huge honor, not only to represent my school, community and the great State of New Hampshire, but because it allows me to contribute to a great cause. My late grandfather was a Shriner, which provides a deeper meaning to this game for me. Future Plans: Upon graduation, I am headed directly into the workforce following a career in Diesel Technology. I will be flown out to Colorado to continue my training with Bobcat of New Hampshire, where I am currently working on heavy equipment as a diesel technician. |
Noah Harder
Representing Gilford High School Positions: RB/LB When I got the call inviting me to play in the Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl, I was not only excited, but also honored to be able to participate in such a long standing tradition. To be able to represent more than my town, a whole state, is truly a privilege. I think the best part for me is to be able to go out there and play a game of football. Whether it be a scrimmage for my school or a game for the state, I'm grateful to play. Future Plans: I plan on playing football in college and hope to own my own house within a few years of graduating. |
Ethan Lewis
Representing Mascoma High School Positions: TE/FB/MLB I was honored when I found out, and I was extremely excited. Future Plans: I would like to go to college for exercise science as a major. |
Tyler Medeiros
Representing Plymouth High School Positions: OL/DL Being accepted for the Shrine Bowl has given me the privilege to play the game I love so dear one last time. Football has changed my life forever and has turned me into the young man I am today; and for me to have the opportunity to not only play again, but to play alongside such an elite group of young men and play for this incredible program, is a true honor. Being able to compete for such a great team and represent my state is the greatest opportunity I've been given. Future Plans: I will be attending Lakes Region Community Collage in their automotive trade program, with hopes of starting my own shop one day. |

Keegan Murphy
Representing Hanover High School Positions: LB I am very excited and honored for the opportunity to play in the Shrine Game and be a part of something so amazing. My older brother and father had both participated in the Shrine Game after their senior year, and I felt the need to do it myself. I love the cause, and I love football, so I am very excited to be a part of this year's Maple Sugar Game. Future Plans: I'm going to Plymouth State, where I will study exercise science and continue my football career with my brother. |
Caiden Paolucci
Representing Portsmouth High School Positions: DT/OT |
Cooper Perkins
Representing Gilford High School Positions: TE/LB When I got the call inviting me to be a part of the Shrine Bowl, I was pumped! It is a huge honor to be invited to be a part of this event, and I am grateful for the opportunity to play in this game. I am excited to represent the New Hampshire Team in the Shrine Bowl, and to fundraise for a great cause! Future Plans: I plan to continue my athletic career in college, while studying Business. I have not made a final decision on my school yet. |
Kai Reitnauer
Representing ConVal High School Positions: WR/CB When I first learned that I had been selected for the Shrine Game I was incredibly excited. The game combines aspects of my life that are very important to me, football and community service. Throughout my four years in high school, football has remained one of the few constants giving me an outlet to deal with stress. I am also proud that my participation in the Shrine Game will benefit a good cause. During high school I participated in community service in my local area. My favorite volunteer work is assisting community members with disabilities in and out of school. I am grateful that I will have the opportunity to play the game I love, for a cause I support. Future Plans: I will be attending college to study mechanical engineering. |
Zack Richardson
Representing Stevens High School Positions: RB/LB When I heard that I was invited to the Shrine Bowl, I was hit with many emotions, the one that stuck out the most though, was relief. The Shrine Bowl is an amazing accolade and being selected for it is more than impressive. Knowing my off-season work ethic paid off is one of the better feelings in high school sports. Anyone who was given the opportunity to play in the Shrine Bowl should make the best of it and hold it with a sense of pride. Future Plans: After high school I will be attending Plymouth State University to get my masters in exercise science with the intent of being a strength and conditioning coach at the professional level. |
Andrew Rodriguez
Representing St. Thomas Aquinas High School Positions: RB/WB/SS/LB Receiving the call from Coach Corkum was unexpected but definitely not unwelcome. I immediately felt extremely grateful and blessed to play football again, especially after seeing teammates play in the past. Once I learned more about the Shriners Hospitals, I felt even more honored to have been given the opportunity to help serve a greater purpose. I'm truly thankful and I can't wait to represent New Hampshire. Future Plans: Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Degree and exploring ROTC opportunities. |
Tyrese Ryder
Representing Kingswood High School Positions: RB Being invited to play in the Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Game is an extreme honor for anyone and I was excited when I found out I was invited. Excited to be able to play against the best of Vermont with the best of New Hampshire on my team. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. Future Plans: I plan to play football at Plymouth State University and pursue a degree in Exercise Science. |
Liam Shannon
Representing Plymouth Regional High School Positions: LB When I found out I was playing for the Shrine Game I was excited to play. My freshman year, when it was my first time playing regular football I didn't think I would be an impact to my team. My first ever varsity snap I was playing a whole new position I have never played before I was surprised I got first time all state my first year starting. Then my life turned around when I hyperextended my elbow during the spring. I thought I would not get to play my senior year. I ended up talking to my coaches and we ended up buying myself a good brace so I can play. Unfortunately, we ended up coming short in the playoffs. I ended up getting accepted to play for Shrine and I'm happy to end up playing in the game with my buddies. Future Plans: My future plans after school is to go into trade school to be an electrician. |
David Souther
Representing Pinkerton Academy Positions: DB I was very excited to learn I was given the opportunity to play for the Shrine NH Team. When I was 11, my older brother (14 at the time) was diagnosed with Leukemia. Those 3.5 years helped mold my life. He was treated at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH - 2 hours away from home. Seeing what he battled (and continues to battle), and what my family had to endure, made me realize how much time, effort and resources any childhood disease or illness takes. I am honored to have the ability to help raise money and awareness for this event, and most of all for those families, like mine. Future Plans: I plan to attend college with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, for Sports Management, and hope to become a Football Coach. |
